The Histopathology Core at the John A. Burns School of Medicine is located on the second floor of the Biomedical Sciences Building in Room 206B and is supported by the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities, National Institutes of Health, and Ola HAWAIʻI (grant U54MD007601). It provides routine histology processing, specialized histochemical and immunohistological techniques. The Core also provides technical assistance, training, and consultation in histological techniques to investigators, students and staff throughout the University on a cost-recovery basis.
